With a background in Early Childhood Education and Montessori Education, Julie raised three children while running a daycare and preschool program. She went on to certify as a Doula, Lamaze Childbirth Educator, Infant Massage Instructor, and Dancing For Birth™ Instructor and Trainer. She is currently working toward certification as a RMT specializing in pre and postnatal massage. Dancing For Birth™ is Julie’s favourite class to teach. She feels that Dancing For Birth™ is the only program that meets the needs of the Mother on every level: physically, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. The classes empower the mother to embrace her inner self, and trust in her own instincts.

Our techniques help shorten labor, reduce c-sections and epidurals, avoid shoulder dystocia, encourage natural birth and increase birth satisfaction. Our Certified Dancing For Birth Instructors teach weekly Dancing For Birth classes—the “trifecta” of birth preparation: pre/post natal fitness, essential birth wisdom, and celebration of the birth journey in one. Dancing For Birth™ was founded by USA’s National Birth Hero, Stephanie Larson. The classes are currently offered on four continents.
