Halloween is a time to celebrate, eat candy, dance and dress up! Costumes range from the simple and thoughtful to amazingly complex and gory. Take those little ones out early before the goons come out. Have you heard of Nextdoor.com? If you’re a member, you can sign in and set your house on the treat map, so kids know you have a treat waiting for them. This is also great to know what houses to hit in your neighborhood!
Originally, the belief that All Hallows Eve was a transitional time when the dead could walk among the living, the custom of dressing up to scare off ghosts still lives strong today. But now, we cherish the time to dress up our children in adorable costumes and use it as an excuse to decorate with cobwebs and spiders, carve pumpkins and let our scary side live a little. Please post a comment and show us your costumes this year!
Since the New Moon will have just risen the night before, tonight will only show a sliver of the moon with a clear sky. This will make for some excellent glow-in-the-dark items on this dark evening. Howl at the dark sky and dance around the fire! There’s nothing quite like dressing up and dancing to make you feel alive! Have a fantastic evening.
And now for this…
