Thank you for your interest in having Stephanie Larson as a keynote speaker at your engagement. Her passion for spreading the word about Dancing For Birth™ is supported with every talk, so thank you! It is important that more women and birth professionals know what their options are in the birthing process. Women have many choices they make during the birth process. Hospital birth, home birth or birth center? There are always choices for the birth environment, the support team, and the way labor is handled. Dancing For Birth™ provides hands-on childbirth education to navigate these questions and more.
Through the years, Stephanie Larson has traveled over the world to teach the idea that motion prenatally, during labor, and through the postpartum period has increased health benefits for mother and baby. From blood circulation, increased oxytocin, to lowering the risk of perinatal mood disorders, bonding with your babies and building a support network with other mothers. Dancing For Birth™ does it all.
Larson created Dancing For Birth™ classes based on experiences utilizing dance and movement for short, euphoric births personally and with her doula and childbirth education clients. She now facilitates international certification workshops. Larson’s speaking engagements and TV appearances include DONA International, Lamaze International, CAPPA, ICAN, CBS and NBC. In 2015, she offered speaking engagements at the Indiana Perinatal Educators Conference, the DONA International Conference, the Lamaze & ICEA Joint Conference and held an in-service for Ounce of Prevention in Chicago. This year, she will be speaking at the Lamaze conference in October.
